CreationConnect, Clearstream’s suite of connectivity products, provides customers with real-time access to instruction statuses, cash and securities positions, corporate action notifications and the latest market information. As Clearstream receives new and updated information, it is immediately made available via CreationConnect.

It provides an adaptable solution for efficient transaction management and reporting for:

Clearstream Banking Frankfurt's IT system, CASCADE, is a highly efficient platform for the settlement of transactions in German and international securities eligible for collective safe custody. CASCADE provides order processing and administration services for payments, securities transfers and securities administration, as well as transaction matching, settlement, and cash and securities clearing. The CASCADE system also manages customers' collective safe custody positions that are good for delivery. 

Three communication channels are available to Clearstream Banking Frankfurt customers:

• Online via CASCADE-Host and CASCADE-PC

• Remote Data Transfer for transmitting standardised data formats via LIMA (Link Manager)

• SWIFT messages via the SWIFT network

Customers can opt to combine the different communication channels as required. These include submitting instructions to CBF via File Transfer or SWIFT, receiving standard reports from settlement, and using CASCADE-Host or CASCADE-PC to block individual orders for settlement online or the real-time retrieval of information.
